Whether you are relocating to San Antonio or just moving across town you will need the following documents to apply for a home mortgage:

VERIFY EMPLOYMENT / SOURCE OF INCOME
-When Employed By Others:

     o W2 forms - 2 years.

     o Current pay stub - 30 days

-When Self Employed:    

     o Year-to-date profit and loss

     o Two years signed tax returns with all attachments (individual, corporate or partnership)

SOURCE OF FUNDS FOR CLOSING:
-Last 3 bank statements for account to be used to pay for any closing funds.

-Gift letter (if applicable) including name, address, and telephone number of donor and relationship to borrower

-Closing statement on sale of any prior homes owned

LIABILITIES & DEBT - PROVIDE:
-Monthly payments, Approximate balance for all debts, such as:

    o Credit cards
    o Auto Loans
    o Real Estate Loans (need address)
    o Unsecured/Signature Loans
    o Co-signed loans.
    o Credit Union Loans

Miscellaneous Letters & Documents

    o Copy of drivers license or picture ID (FHA Loans)
    o Bankruptcy papers and release Copy of real estate purchase contract
    o Divorce decrees
    o Deposit for appraisal, credit report, title search
